We hope this access statement helps our guests visualise the layout and the facilities at the apartment wirksworth.

Our property is a contemporary self-catering apartment situated in the historical town of Wirksworth. Wirksworth is situated in the Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District, close to Matlock and Ashbourne. The apartment is situated in the heart of the town within walking distance of shops, restaurants and other local amenities.

The property has sleeping arrangements for four people.

Entrance to the Property

  • The entrance to the property has 5 small steps from the garden. These steps have a hand rail on the right and lead on to a deck. The outside lights have a switch both on the wall of the steps and on the inside of the apartment entrance hall.
  • The door leads into the entrance hall where there is a shoe/boot rack, and 2 storage cupboards
  • The hall opens into the living and kitchen area, a double bedroom with door, a twin bedroom, and shower room.

Open plan Living/Dining Area

  • The living/kitchen area is open plan.
  • Flooring is wooden.
  • Furniture is moveable.
  • One leather triple sofa and 1 leather armchair.
  • A consol table holds the TV, apartment manual, and visitor guide folder.
  • The LCD TV is situated on this table, it has all the usual TV stations plus all the digital radio stations normally available on ‘Freestat’ this includes teletext It has a remote control unit.
  • DVD player. This can also be used to play CDs. It has a remote control unit.
  • A small shelving unit below the table holds the satellite decoder and DVD player.
  • Gas central heating is controlled by a simple turn thermostat control
  • A large coffee table has a shelf containing books, and games.
  • There is a dining table and four chairs. [2 Extra chairs are available on request.

  • Heating is provided by gas central heating throughout.
  • The hot water is provided by a combi boiler, and is constant
  • Mobile phone reception for Vodafone.
  • Free wireless internet access.
  • The property is no smoking throughout, although smoking is permitted in the garden.
